What is Art Deco Inspired jewellery

Ever wondered, why jewellery from the 1920s still makes a lasting impression? Well, though short-lived, it was a period of liberalisation post world war 1. There was a growth in wealth and women getting more freedom, which brought in a huge range of jewellery that was bold with innovative expression of art and  an emphasis on geometrical designs with striking colours. No wonder it was called the ‘Roaring twenties’
Despite the unique shape, use of different gemstones and elaborate designs, Art Deco jewellery still holds a prime place in fashion and there are many references made to the era, personally I give credit to the magnum opus ‘The Great Gatsby’ . Even today brides-to-be look out for original Art Deco engagement rings and this has inspired contemporary jewellery designers. To match the jewellery from that genre and translate to modern jewellery that’s unique, wearable and yet carries an essence from that period
Our rings are made by one of our designer jewellers who specialises in Art Deco inspired rings and he is one of the finest jewellers we have come across in our close to 40 years of business. Even while creating an Art Deco inspired ring, we try to keep away from the very generic  designs and try to fit in your personal style making it as unique as possible. Our goal is to make sure that when people see her hand their reaction will be WOW!!!
So, Paula Keshett, founder of Keshett Jewellery has rounded up some Art Deco Inspired pieces for you to treasure for years to come.
